Artists on The Love Bus
A green room only works if the people using it want to stay in it. These are some of the artists who did in 2026.
The Sunday Night Bus Tour
On the Sunday night of Maui Waui 2026, just before Dub Pistols came off the main stage, the bus was full of artists from across the line up. These are the acts we named, and a few words on each.
Thanks to Silas Rayner and everyone at Maui Waui for making it happen.
The Room Does the Work
Artists come off a main stage loud, warm and wired. The bus gives them somewhere quiet to land. The interior is acoustically insulated, there is a mahogany bar, velvet seating and heating or air conditioning to suit the weather, and there is a piano.
The piano is what changes the evening. At Maui Waui 2026 it drew late night jams from members of The Gulls and The Undercover Hippy, and Marnie Hardy gave it a last minute repaint that was still drying when the tuner arrived. An artist who sits down at the keys does not leave in a hurry.
