The Love Bus UK is the official VIP Green Room at Plumpton Revival 2026 — the festival reigniting the lost 1969/70 chapter of British rock history. A vintage coach, returning to the era it was built for.
Some Legends Deserve
a Second Verse
In 1969 and 1970, Plumpton Racecourse hosted Pink Floyd, The Who, Black Sabbath, Yes, Deep Purple, Cat Stevens and Peter Green — the festival that would eventually move on and become Reading. Then, for fifty years, it was forgotten.
Plumpton Revival — Summer of Love brings it back on 8–9 August 2026, with theatre-quality tribute acts honouring the original line-up alongside the best of the touring blues circuit, immersive 1970s theming, retro funfair, vintage markets, and an entire weekend dedicated to a forgotten chapter of British counterculture.
The Love Bus — a 1968 Plaxton Panorama — was rolling off the production line the year before the original festival kicked off. It was built for this era. It belongs at this festival. And this year, it is the official VIP Green Room.

Three months before the festival, The Love Bus hits the road on a two-day promo tour to spread the word. Public, free to come and find — keep an eye on our social channels for exact stop times.
Sussex Media Launch
The Love Bus rolls into Brighton and Worthing for the official Plumpton Revival 2026 media launch — a drive-by promo tour bringing a piece of 1968 to the Sussex coast. Look out for the bus on the streets and come say hello.

Fête at Plumpton College
The Love Bus heads to the Plumpton College Fête — a day of community celebration in the heart of the village hosting the festival. A perfect chance to meet the team, climb aboard, and find out what's coming on 8–9 August.
Open to the public, family-friendly, and a brilliant excuse to come and see the bus that will anchor the VIP Green Room three months later.

VIP Green Room
Across the festival weekend, The Love Bus serves as the private artist sanctuary at Plumpton Revival 2026 — a fully equipped, acoustically insulated retreat for performers between sets, off-grid and self-sufficient at the heart of the racecourse.
For VIP ticket holders, the bus is a talking point and a piece of festival history rolled into one — vintage romance with modern luxury fit-out, sat at the centre of a festival celebrating exactly the era it was built in.

Plumpton Station
Plumpton Station sits directly beside the racecourse — step off the train and stroll into the festival. Regular Southern Railway services run from Lewes, Brighton and London Victoria. Around an hour from London, just 15 minutes from Brighton.
Direct connections also from Gatwick Airport and the wider South East.

Tucked between Lewes and Haywards Heath in the heart of Sussex. From the A27, follow signs to Lewes, then the B2192 and B2116. From the north, the A23 and A272 give straightforward access from London, Brighton and Gatwick.
