A 1968 Bus.
An Era Reborn.
The Love Bus UK is the official VIP Green Room at Plumpton Revival 2026 — the festival reigniting the lost 1969/70 chapter of British rock history. A vintage coach, returning to the era it was built for.
Some Legends Deserve
a Second Verse
In 1969 and 1970, Plumpton Racecourse hosted Pink Floyd, The Who, Black Sabbath, Yes, Deep Purple, Cat Stevens and Peter Green — the festival that would eventually move on and become Reading. Then, for fifty years, it was forgotten.
Plumpton Revival — Summer of Love brings it back on 8–9 August 2026, with theatre-quality tribute acts honouring the original line-up alongside the best of the touring blues circuit, immersive 1970s theming, retro funfair, vintage markets, and an entire weekend dedicated to a forgotten chapter of British counterculture.
The Love Bus — a 1968 Plaxton Panorama — was rolling off the production line the year before the original festival kicked off. It was built for this era. It belongs at this festival. And this year, it is the official VIP Green Room.
A Line-Up Worthy of
The Original
Theatre-quality tribute acts honouring the legends of Plumpton's 1969/70 era, alongside the cream of the contemporary blues circuit. Saturday and Sunday across three stages.
More Than Just Music
A fully immersive 1970s experience — comedy, cinema, circus, disco, retro funfair, vintage markets, scooter and VW rallies, and walkabout actors bringing the era back to life.
Don't Miss
