Secret Garden Party built its reputation on the extraordinary, and a 1968 Plaxton Panorama rebuilt as a velvet lined cabaret venue belongs in that world without needing any explanation.

At SGP the bus works hardest as a pop up stage and a VIP sanctuary at the same time. The awning extends out, the external sound system goes on, and it becomes a destination in its own right rather than a facility tucked away backstage.

The bus has historically been a highlight of the event, drawing audiences and artists alike into its own particular world. It becomes as much of a talking point as anything on the bill, which is the whole idea.
